As virtual friendship increase via the internet, it’s as well to spare a word now and then by mail or telephone to those who feel they’re on the outside looking in. Too many still won’t take that first little step into the unknown by making the decision to tap the keys and dance on to the internet stage; that’s why the words of Maya Angelou chosen by you are so apt. Thank you, Maureen. Her life inspires me in so many ways, not the least of which is the way she reached out to other people who could benefit from her friendship and example. She took a big basket of negative and turned it into a very full, richly-lived life.
