Radar shows that it rained off and on through the night, and today is more of the same. These aren’t the driving spring rains that flush the creeks and rivers… those will come… but the slow soaking is good, we need that too. A lot of the trees are covered in buds already… so brave every year, unafraid of a sudden killing frost. We’re under a wind advisory today, it’s wet and chill out there, and my plan is to stay close to the fire, NCAA Basketball, and the food source. Kim just went to the store for soup & sammy makings, so we’re looking good.
The Jayhawks won big last night, other games will run all day, tucked in is where it’s at, and we’re happy. That’s entirely enough to carry the day.
